When upgrading the 1.5L Turbo engine in the 10th Gen Honda Civics, the stock
clutch and flywheel leaves a lot to be desired. Quite quickly the stock clutch
becomes incapable of supporting power upgrades and more aggressive driving on
a race track. Clutch Masters offers a complete lineup of single and twin disc,
as well as single mass aluminum and steel flywheels to suit your cars current
and future needs.

This dampened disc MUST be used with a single mass flywheel and is not
compatible with the OEM dual mass flywheel.

FX400 clutch kits have a 170% increase in holding capacity over factory
clutch. This means the FX400 will hold 170% more horsepower and torque over
your stock clutch.

The FX400 System uses the Power Plus I, Hi-Levarage, Heavy-Duty Pressure Plate
with a custom and extremely durable, Sprung Ceramic disc. This is the ultimate
extreme duty street and/or road/drag racing system. It is available in a 6 or
8 ceramic puck configurations. The 6-puck being the more aggressive setup and
8-puck being the less aggressive. The sprung hub design allows for moderate
dampening in high-torque applications, rendering it much more street friendly
than solid or rigid designs. This disc is designed for long life, outstanding
holding capacity, and rapid heat dissipation.

The FX400/HDCL (8-puck) ceramic full face disc design creates a quick and
rapid engagement and maintains minimal chatter due to the marcel cushion
between the disc linings. This disc is designed for street driven vehicles.

The FX400/HDC6 (6-Puck) ceramic paddle design creates a quick and rapid
engagement as well as clutch chatter that may not be ideal for street driven
vehicles. Warning Due to the solid (no Marcel) friction rivet design, the
FX400 6 disc engages very quickly and may chatter slightly in first and
reverse. To help alleviate this problem, we only use premium ceramic friction

Ceramic based clutch disc are not intended to increase the life expectancy of a clutch but rather to increase the holding capacity and improve the durability of the clutch. Using a ceramic based material for easy street driving may reduce the life of the clutch kit due to harsh engagement and higher tendency to slip the clutch kit. Ceramic disc are never recommended for stock or near stock vehicle applications.
